ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — Ossid, powered by ProMach, will showcase an integrated high speed packaging solution that includes a stretch overwrapper and a weigh-price labeler at Pack Expo 2014, November 2-5, in Chicago. Ossid will also display individual machines, including the Integrity horizontal form-fill-seal machine and 500im leak resistant stretch overwrapper. (Ossid Pack Expo Booth # N-5313)

Machines in the Integrated Line
The 500Si high-speed stretch overwrapper produces tightly wrapped, PVC case ready packaging at speeds of up to 120 trays per minute. An intuitive HMI ensures ease of operation and rapid, tool-free changeover between package sizes is quick and easy. The open stainless steel frame and other construction aspects are compatible with the harsh environments of poultry and meat packaging facilities. The 500Si has a relatively small footprint and is ideal for space-constrained environments.
The 1500 series weigh price labeler improves production with accurate and flexible label placement. The 1500 series is rated at up to 120 trays per minute. The unit is packed with both standard features and options. A host of data acquisition capabilities are available, including the productivity enhancing Ossid Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) tool.
The CS5000 is an NTEP Certified case scale that weighs cases with the company’s newest tolerance range of +/- .02lbs (.01kg). The unit’s Microsoft SQL Database delivers seamless data integration and data transfer. Ethernet network functionality facilitates automatic order processing and tracking, remote user training, off-site maintenance, software upgrades, and more.

The Integrity™ horizontal form-fill-seal machine delivers output rates of up to 15 cycles per minute. This machine can produce a variety of package types, including flexible, foil-foil, ambient, vacuum, modified atmosphere, and more. Designed for the most difficult wash-down environments, the Integrity is modular in terms of giving meat, poultry, and dairy companies the opportunity to choose only those features most beneficial for their operation. This machine meets USDA, meat, poultry, dairy, and 3-A sanitary standards.
The 500im intermittent motion leak resistant stretch overwrapper is designed for red meat, pork, poultry, and produce packers that want a quality end-seal machine at an entry-level price. The 500im features an open stainless steel frame, a variety of standard features, and a wrap rate of up to 35 trays per minute.
