Ossid Brings Complete Produce Packaging Solutions to IFPA’s Global Produce & Floral Show in Orlando

BATTLEBORO, N.C., September 3, 2026 – Produce growers, packers, and processors looking for flexible, automated packaging solutions can see Ossid’s broad portfolio of technologies in action in Booth 3217 at the International Fresh Produce Association’s (IFPA) 2026 Global Produce & Floral Show, October 14-16, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

At the show, Ossid will demonstrate three systems designed to address a range of fresh product packaging requirements. Exhibits include the ReeMaster 700 NextGen Automatic Tray Sealer producing top-lidded berry packages; a fresh corn packaging line integrating the 500Si High-Speed Stretch Overwrapper, a labeler from EPI (another ProMach brand), and a NextGen 2115 Weigh Price Labeler; and the ReeFlow 50B Flow Wrapper packaging fresh squash and zucchini.
Together, the systems highlight Ossid’s ability to help produce operations automate packaging while supporting package quality, product protection, throughput, and presentation.
Reepack ReeMaster 700 NextGen Automatic Tray Sealer
Taking center stage is the ReeMaster 700 NextGen Automatic Tray Sealer, a platform that recently made its North American debut and continues to roll out across various markets.
Engineered for medium- to large-scale production environments, the ReeMaster 700 combines precision, flexibility, and sanitary design. Servo-driven indexing conveyors and side grippers provide accurate tray positioning and smooth movement into the sealing station to support consistent package quality.
The ReeMaster 700 accommodates multiple packaging formats, allowing processors to adapt to changing products, packaging requirements, and market demands. Its stainless steel, washdown-ready construction and open-frame design provide easy access for cleaning and maintenance. A 12-inch color touchscreen with recipe management simplifies operation and product setup, while tool-free access supports efficient changeovers.
The top-lid berry application will highlight an attractive packaging format that protects delicate products while delivering strong shelf appeal.
500Si High-Speed Stretch Overwrapper and NextGen 2115 Weigh Price Labeler
For produce operations requiring high-speed tray overwrapping and labeling, Ossid will also showcase a complete fresh corn packaging line featuring the 500Si High-Speed Stretch Overwrapper, an EPI labeler, and Ossid's NextGen 2115 Weigh Price Labeler (WPL).
Designed for high-speed applications, the 500Si can wrap up to 120 packages per minute. Its gripper chain technology stretches film tightly around the tray to create an attractive package while efficiently utilizing film. The system is well suited for a variety of fresh produce applications and offers fast product changeovers to accommodate multiple products and package sizes.
After overwrapping, packages will travel through an EPI labeler before moving further downstream to the NextGen 2115 WPL, which combines weighing and labeling in a high-speed, continuous motion system with accurate, flexible label placement. Capable of handling up to 180 packages per minute, the 2115 WPL is approved by the National Type Evaluation Program (NTEP) and features an intuitive user interface and modular design that helps reduce lead times and simplifies implementation.
This integrated line demonstrates how produce packers can combine multiple packaging functions into a streamlined operation that improves productivity while creating consistent, retail-ready packages.
Reepack ReeFlow 50B Flow Wrapper
Rounding out Ossid’s IFPA exhibit is the ReeFlow 50B Flow Wrapper packaging squash and zucchini.
Flow wrapping offers produce operations an efficient alternative for products that may not require traditional tray packaging. Designed for high-volume performance, the ReeFlow 50B combines versatility and reliability in a compact system capable of handling a wide variety of fresh products. The machine can run conventional packaging materials as well as recyclable mono-material, compostable, and biodegradable films, helping producers adapt to evolving sustainability goals and packaging requirements.
Built with a stainless steel, washdown-ready design, the ReeFlow 50B supports hygienic operation and easy cleaning. Its PLC-based controls synchronize product infeed, film handling, and sealing functions, while an intuitive touchscreen interface simplifies setup and operation.
The squash and zucchini demonstration gives attendees an opportunity to see how horizontal flow wrapping can provide a streamlined solution for packaging fresh produce, helping protect products throughout distribution while delivering an attractive, retail-ready package.
