Tray Sealer - SSTS Overview

The SSTS Tray Sealer is an American made intermittent motion machine that will heat seal an appropriate lidding material to a preformed semi-rigid tray constructed of paper, plastic or foam. Some examples of typical products suitable for this machine are prepared meals, case ready meats, convenience foods, and medical kits. Each package is contour trimmed before exiting the machine. Formerly known as the Mahaffy & Harder SureFlow Model SSTS, it is equipped with custom designed tray carriers which include provisions for vacuum and/or gas applications where requested. Vacuum level controls and gas mixing attachments are available to suit the product's specific packaging needs.
