May 18, 2006

CINCINNATI OH; ROCKY MOUNT, NC - Pro Mach's Ossid Division has named Fran Ventura, a 25-year sales veteran for horizontal form, fill, and seal equipment, Vice President of Sales for its MH product line of thermoforming, vacuum, modified atmosphere and ambient packaging solutions.

Before joining Ossid, Mr. Ventura successfully directed sales to medical device and industrial/consumable markets for Winpak and CFS, where he held several sales leadership and technical positions. Additionally, he has designed and patented several machine innovations related to horizontal form, fill, and seal equipment.

Ossid, a division of Pro Mach's Primary Packaging Business Unit, is a leading provider of packaging equipment solutions for medical devices, fresh and processed protein products, convenience foods and consumer goods. Ossid added thermoforming solutions to its capabilities when it acquired Mahaffy and Harder's product line, now known as Ossid's MH line, in February this year. The flagship product is Ossid's 8000MH, known for its high production capability, quick changeover and accommodation of a wide range of flexible and semi-rigid packaging materials.

"We're pleased to have someone with Fran's considerable experience leading sales efforts for our MH product line," said Bud Lane, President of Pro Mach's Primary Packaging Business Unit. "He has a proven track record of sales leadership and of applying his form, fill and seal expertise to better serve customers' specific needs. We are confident that he will serve our customers well and further differentiate Ossid and our MH product line as the smart choice for thermoforming solutions."
