Gallatin, TN - Associated Packaging, a nationally recognized supplier of packaging materials and machinery as well as system integration and technical support services, now offers its customers Ossid weigh price labeling systems, horizontal form-fill-seal machines, and tray packaging solutions.
Ossid, a division of Pro Mach, manufactures state-of-the-art weigh price labeling systems for the food processing industry. These machines are designed to run packages ranging in size from 12 to 20 inches in length at rates up to 120 units per minute. Ossid also produces systems for weighing and labeling cases up to 24 inches long and weighing 70 pounds. Semi-automatic and fully automatic systems are available as well as multiple print stations.
Ossid's form-fill-seal machines are typically applied by both medical device and food companies. These automated machines produce a variety of flexible packaging, including vacuum, modified atmosphere, and ambient atmosphere. A wide selection of material types, material widths, and production speeds are available.
Ossid's line of tray packaging solutions offers a wide range of options from high-speed tray sealing to leak-proof overwrapping. To lower costs and to meet corporate sustainability goals, various models of Ossid overwrappers consume anywhere from 25-to-41 percent less stretch film than standard machines.
