Ossid’s goal is to provide our partners with fast and accurate information regarding Return Material Authorization’s (RMA).
A Return Material Authorization (RMA) is required from Ossid in order for you to return a unit for repair or replacement. Ossid will provide you with a RMA number and shipping instructions. The RMA number must be prominently displayed on the shipping container and referenced on all correspondence pertaining to the returned product.
Ossid will not accept any packages without an open, valid RMA number appearing on the outside of the box/packaging and referenced on the shipping paper. Only the specific items listed on the RMA will be accepted. All other items will be returned to the customer utilizing the customer’s standard shipping method.
If items are not received within 30 days of the RMA assignment date, the RMA number will be void and a new number will need to be assigned.
A purchase order is required when an RMA is issued for repair. A $250 non refundable diagnostic fee is required to determine whether the item can be repaired. If the item is repairable the diagnostic fee will be credited towards the repair cost. The product that is shipped to the customer may be new or refurbished but will be certified functionally equivalent to the original product. Repairs under warranty are free of charge. Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Defective parts (Warranty or Quality) must be returned to Ossid within 60 days after shipping of the replacement or an invoice will be generated for the replacement part.
All RMA returned items must be sent via traceable means: UPS, FedEx, etc. Be sure to retain the tracking information for your records. The customer is responsible for the product until it is received at Ossid. Please make sure product is packaged adequately. If an item is improperly packaged we will consider that item non-repairable and return it to the customer.
